T31 TL Engels

This T31b Tandem Tutor "TopLess", is
assembled out of two planes.
The gliders were found during the VGC Rally
at Lasham in 1994 and in the autumn of that
year we brought the planes to Hilversum.

One glider had a quite good fuselage , but
the wings were very bad because of
waterdamage and mouse-family's are living
in the wings.
The other one had excellent wings, but the
fuselage was shortened. The owner wanted
to make a motorglider out of the plane but
never finished the project.

In 1995 Peter, Martijn and Gerard started
the complete overhaul and after painting the
plane in red, white and blue colors, it made
his first flight in 1996 on the airfield of
Hilversum (EHHV)

After that flight we made many other
fantastic rides. Flights of two hours and
altitudes of 6000 ft were no exception.
The only thing is: it is a windy place so don't
be afraid of the cold temperature on that
altitude.....
