The work
the work in 2005
January 2005: we are continueing the job.....
At the end of January the top of the fuselage has been reskinned with
plywood 1.50 mm. Time for a "top" party........!!!
Now we are starting to assemble the flight controls.

March 21
During the months of February and March we have not been idle.
The topside of the fuselage has been completed. The nose section
has been finished and on the first day of the Spring, the last
plywood skinpanel was glued into position.
A complex job is getting the flight controls, the sticks, the pedals ,
the trimcontrol and the cable release mechanisme into their
proper position. It all took us quite a few hours. The repairing of
the fin as well as the repairing of the canopy has been nearing its
completion.
We found some damage in the fin: some holes, one broken rib and a stringer has been broken.
More work to do.........
June

During the last three months we had a lot of work to do.
All steering controls and wires have been assembled.
The tailsection has been repaired (took a lot of time...) and the
canopy has been completed now: it is fitting perfect.
In the month of June we turned the fuselage upside down again.
Now we can glue the last bottompanels.
After that job we take some weeks off to travel around for a
holiday: sailing, driving and flying.....
September
In the month of September we have been started the project
again.
The next big job will be the repair of the left wing. This wing
was badly damaged by the crash. The wing is broken at
several places and the tip is missing: about three meters....
We will repair the tip by using a part of another
Sedbergh-wing
In short: this will be a tough job......
November 24
We started the repair of the left wing. At this moment the broken auxiliary spar has been repaired and the
ribs nrs one and two are in excellent condition again. The auxiliary spar has been assembled of 12 layers
1.2 mm plywood and glued with Aerodux.

December
The auxiliary spar has been glued and we are repairing the last ribs
as You can see on the photo's.
After that we can glue the skinpanel of the wing. This will be the
last job this year.
Next year, in Januari 2006, we will proceed......
